Strategically focusing on the next right step requires you know the steps in the process.  Often times we force work just to end up starting over and over again.  We see success from others and believe we can duplicate that process,  but if  it's not for you, you are just spinning your wheels.  No amount of work will bring success if you don't have a passion for what you're doing.

Funny thing about the word success it's as different as the waves on the sea, it's as different for me as it is for you.  For me it's being able to pay my bills, to have enough  money to live a comfortable retirement free of worry and have enough left over to help others.

 For you it may be becoming a millionaire.  Only you can answer that question. As different as the meanings of success, we all get there the same way.  Hard work and discipline in that work.  Managing our time, creating order and placing logical steps to a process.  It's all the same you cannot succeed without. 
If you are starting over and over  time after time hoping and believing you will succeed I question whether you know your process, whether you are disciplined, and if  you have managed you in your time in order to complete the task or project.

When the smallest project can  become a major challenge.  You may loose sight of  your direction then everything becomes your direction.

After all wasn't it disciplining yourself and willing to focus on your career that brought your success the first time around. Now you are starting over draw on that same discipline, willingness and focus.
